TRAKR was built as an Free app. This SERVICE is provided by us at no cost and is intended for use as is.

Information Collection and Use

TRAKR is designed with your privacy in mind:

Local Data Storage: Your tracked shows, seasons, episodes, and watch history are stored locally on your device using a local database (Room). We do not store or collect your personal viewing history on any external servers.
Third-Party APIs: The app fetches television show data, images, and metadata from the TMDb API (The Movie Database). When you search for shows or view details, requests are sent directly to TMDb. Please refer to TMDb's Privacy Policy for information regarding their data practices.

Permissions

The app may require certain permissions to function correctly:

Notifications: Used locally on your device to notify you about new episodes airing today (if enabled by you in the settings).
Storage / File Access: Used exclusively when you manually choose to export or import your backup data file (.json) to and from your device storage.

Security

Since your personal tracking data remains locally on your device, you are in control of your data. We value your trust in using our app, but remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
